Intamarket was founded in 1974 after acquiring the rights to distribute and
support the Gerber Technology product suite. This included product lifecycle
management (PLM), computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing This included product lifecycle management
(PLM), computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing and
surrounding countries. |

As a result of this mutually successful relationship, the parent company of
Gerber Technology, Gerber Scientific Inc. requested
Intamarket to distribute their computerized sign making and specialty graphics
systems, software, materials,and accessories to the South African sign making
industry. |

Over 30 years later this rewarding relationship still exists between Intamarket
and Gerber Technology |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In addition to the Gerber Technology distributorship, Intamarket acts as a
distributor of the following brands in the sewn and flexible goods industry:
ETON and Switch Track Systems. |

|
|
Intamarket expanded its presence in the sign making industry by introducing high
quality vinyl and speciality materials manufactured
by the following leading brands in this field: 3M, Avery Dennison and PoliTape. |

|
|
|
|
In 2006 the business expanded through the creation of two new businesses within
the Intamarket environment. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Intamarket Medical Technologies (‘Intamed”) was formed. Intamed holds the rights
to distribute capital medical equipment on
behalf of significant international brands to the healthcare industries in South
Africa and neighbouring countries. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Intamarket Equity and Advisory (“IntaEquity”) was formed. IntaEquity acts as broker
and participant in private equity and other
capital raising transactions and offers corporate finance advice to small and
medium size companies in South Africa. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In 2007, Intamarket founded Intamarket Properties (“Intaprop”) as its property holding company,
incorporating the creation of Hydro
Executive Apartments and Esprit Executive Apartments which provides furnished
hotel apartments in Sandton, South Africa. |
